You That I Trust

https:/mmmmmm_wWhatever we have to look in the face today, next week, next month, or this year, God is true and His word is trustworthy. When circumstances and situations seem daunting it can be easy to fear and doubt, to get bent out of shape and frustrated, but the things unseen to us and takes us by surprise, God saw all along. The illness and disease we lament did not take God by surprise. The uncertainty at work and in your marriage, God saw coming. The reason He “allows” these things to occur in our lives is because He chooses to walk in them with us. Isn’t it good to know that in our calamity we have the presence of God?

If God chooses to be present in the negative aspects of life, He chooses to bring His peace. If He brings His peace He brings His power. If He brings Gus power He brings His purpose. Wherever the presence, peace, power, and purpose of God is, there is the good Paul spoke of—all things work together for good for those who love Him and are called according to this same purpose. Therefore, instead of assessing how we can figure it out and how things may go if we take certain steps, we should trust Him. Trust that His steadfast love for us endures forever, trust that He has plans for us to prosper, trust that as a child of the King of the Universe good is your inheritance. Trust God.

Until next time, continue to stay guided by grace,
